Well done Doug on a well deserved first time pass at Beeston Test Centre today. Two minor faults simply demonstrate the consistent standard of driving you’ve shown me throughout your lessons. I really can’t take much credit for your success, as you were already an accomplished driver when you started lessons with me, but I am glad that I was able to help your preparation and witness you gain confidence in your driving over the weeks. I look forward to a Pass Plus course in the Spring.
Martin was a fantastic instructor, very patient and adapted the lessons to suit my needs and came up with a well worked out plan to enable me to gain confidence and pass first time. Doug
Congratulations Vivien on your success today at Beeston Test Centre. Having seen your driving skills improve over the last three months, it was pleasing that you were able to deliver such a good performance on your driving test today. Well done and best wishes for your remaining time at University.
As a driving instructor operating under an AA Driving School franchise, the AA provide me with a new car around every 7 months. The latest car was delivered at the crack of dawn this morning. In fact it was so dark that I am still not quite sure if it’s black or dark blue!
However, my current pupils can rest assured that apart from the colour and the obligatory smell of a new car, it will feel no different to drive as the old one.
Firstly, Happy New Year to all my current learner drivers. Whether you are just at the start of the learning process, nearing test standard or preparing for a driving test early in the new year, I wish you a successful outcome in 2014.
Further to my recent text message, just to note that, from 2nd January 2014, I shall have a new phone number dedicated to business use. The number is 0798 011 1234.
As detailed in my terms of business, all lessons must be paid for by no later than the end of the lesson but one-off lessons (e.g. a refresher session, mock test, motorway lesson) must be paid for at the time of booking (by bank transfer). Please note that any regular failure to pay for lessons in a timely manner could result in the cessation of lessons or a request to pay for future lessons in advance.
A bank transfer should be made to arrive in my account by no later than the day of the lesson booked. If you have regular weekly lessons, you may wish to set up a “Standing Order” (similar to a direct debit mandate) with your bank.
Although my preferred method of payment is by bank transfer, cash payments are accepted (and should be made by no later than the end of the lesson).
Cheque payments (made payable to Martin Ferlinc) are only accepted for the purchase of a block of lessons and should be presented at least 6 working days prior to the lesson for which payment is required.
