Paying for Lessons

Martin’s Long Term Pupils (Standard Driving Lessons)

- Cash payments should be made by no later than the end of the lesson

- Bank transfer payments need to be made no later than the day of the lesson booked

- Cheque payments are only now accepted for the payment of a block booking of 10 lessons and should be presented at least 6 working days prior to the lesson for which payment is required

Please see my own Terms of Business for further details about my approach to payments, refunds and cancellation charges.

Short Term/One Off/Post Test Sessions (e.g Refresher Sessions, Pass Plus, Mock Tests etc)

These sessions need to be paid for in advance, by bank transfer, to secure the booking.  If a session is cancelled with more than 48 hours notice and an alternative booking cannot be arranged for a mutually convenient time, your payment will be fully refunded. However, please note that the payment is non-refundable for any session(s) cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.

Pass Plus

Charlotte was the latest person to take the Pass Plus course with me (although she did not learn to drive with me). The Pass Plus course can be a valuable way of developing your driving skills after passing your test. In addition to the six modules (which include giving you the experience of driving on a motorway, under supervision), I also try to tailor the course to include other specific areas. In Charlotte’s case, I extended the course to work on parking in a multi-story car park (with ramps).

I would like to thank you again for doing the Pass Plus course with me. You gave me much more confidence with my driving and helped me to face and overcome my fears with driving. I will be in touch if I ever need advice about driving! – Charlotte

James Passes Test at Chilwell

Well done James on passing your test today at the new test centre in Chilwell today. Having been driving so well in your lessons leading up to the test, I’m pleased you were able to control your nerves and show the examiner your driving skills.
